Fair Trade Fiesta ‘09 15/05/09

Fair Trade Fiesta on Friday 15 May 2009 is an annual event in which fair and ethical trading values are celebrated. The Fiesta is being held at RMIT's Storey Hall, 342 Swanston Street, Melbourne CBD, between the hours of 12pm and 9pm on Friday 15th May 2009.

Liven up your day with a delicious fairtrade coffee or tea whilst watching a traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony. Come and see the latest in fairtrade fashion and sportsgear, then wander through our vibrant art and crafts market. Indulge in a fairtrade chocolate fondue party and enjoy the sights and sounds of Melbourne’s own drummers, fire-twirlers and live performers.

The FairTrade Fiesta is the Melbourne highlight of Fair Trade Fortnight, where around the nation, Australians will enjoy a wide variety of events, tastings and ‘guilt-free’ shopping trips. Fairtrade is the guarantee of a better deal for Third World producers.
